Jake Wunsch (b. 1978) is an amateur trumpeter and publications director of a legal nonprofit. He lives in a thin-walled apartment in New York City.
The name News from the Shed is borrowed with kind permission from saxophonist John Butcher, who released the legendary album of small group improvisation in 1989. “Shedding” is slang for practice; I gather the shed is where it gets done.
